Terms and Conditions
The following are the general terms and conditions of the Made in New York Jazz competition
The organizers of the Made in New York Jazz Competition INC reserve the right to use the videos and other supporting media uploaded to madeinnyjazz.com for promotional campaigns and other marketing needs, as necessary in the sole and absolute discretion of the organizers.
The contestant providing the video owns all copyrights associated with the video and its content or has authorization to use it. The contestant authorizes Made in New York Jazz Competition INC to use, promote, distribute, and/or display the content that may be otherwise protected by any proprietary rights.
By participating in the competition, all entrants agree to adhere to, and abide by the Rules and Regulations of the competition.
For all prizes, the decisions of the judges and the online votes are final and binding
All entries must be the original creations of the participants, unless authorization from the intellectual property owner is provided at the time of entry submission. The participation fee is seventy five dollars (subject to change).
Contestants may NOT submit offensive, pornographic, obscene, criminal or adult themes, links, images, or videos. The organizers of the Made in New York Jazz competition reserve the rights to decide what constitutes deletion, suspension, or banning within the submitted content
The prizewinner will be responsible for any and all federal, state and/or local taxes resulting from acceptance of the prize money associated with this competition. The prizewinner cannot assign or transfer the prize to another person or any one else. No prize substitution or changes are allowed.
Upon determination of the winner, the organizers of the competition will sponsor a performance in New York City. The organizers of the competition cannot guarantee to carry trip expenses to more than one performer. The entrance to U.S.A. of all non-U.S. winning participants is subject to U.S. Immigration Services approval.
