Rotraut Jäger, a German/Swiss national living in Zurich, is a passionate flautist. At home in all styles from classical to jazz, Latin and world music, the power woman presents her refreshing and energetic compositions on various flutes - C-, bass-, alto-, piccolo- and bansuri-flute - with her multicultural quartet Rotraut Jäger SONAMBIQUE. Her music combines jazz, Latin and odd meters and takes the listener on a multi-stylistic journey, not only through a variety of moods, but also through a whole range of regions on this planet.
