Ying Gaoyang, a young jazz guitarist. He once led the world-renowned crossover string orchestra "Turtle Island Quartet" to perform traditional Chinese music adaptations in the master class, and received high praise from the "Turtle Island Quartet" for on-site commentary and guidance. He once held a special concert at the City Reception Hall of Shanghai Conservatory of Music. Current guitarist of the Shanghai Conservatory of Music Jazz Band. He has been learning guitar playing since childhood. He has been systematically learning the blues and jazz styles of playing electric guitar since 2020. Since 2022, he has been systematically studying jazz performance and theory under the guidance of jazz guitarist, composer, and associate professor at Shanghai Conservatory of Music, Professor Zhang Xiongguan. In 2023, he was admitted to Shanghai Conservatory of Music with excellent grades and has since developed strong abilities in jazz performance and composition.
